I've been working with Cynthia Uhrich for almost 3 years now and have seen a great improvement in my work and the roles that I've been offered. I've also had the chance to watch a student of hers go from never having worked in the biz to being one of the busiest actors I know with an extensive resume. I recommend her to every actor that comes across my path. There is also not a better price for classes in town.

I can vouch for Ms. Uhrich's teaching abilities. I took a bunch of her classes a few years ago and found her to be very creative in her approach to teaching actors new ways to look at a script. If people are ultimately looking for a good class that will improve their skills I would recommend Cynthia.

I searched all over the Twin Cities and finally decided on classes with Cynthia Uhrich. I'm having a great time, have met wonderful other actors who are very supportive, and my acting is getting to be much more subtle. She's been great about challenging me, but also knows when I'm not ready to make a big jump and works with me accordingly. It's been fun to watch people come into class with little or no experience and then slowly go through the process of getting headshots, an agent and booking jobs. I had been on a break and was rusty after not acting for a few years, and now I'm working consistantly. I love it!

I am so very happy to say that I have taken classes lead by Ms. Cynthia Uhrich. And her supportive approach encourages taking risks, building confidence, and just having tons of fun as an actor. IF you are ready to step outside your comfort zone and stretch yourself into a more independent, interesting actor, Ms. Cynthia can kick your butt into gear. It ain't all sensitive, get-in-touch work, and certainly isn't "lions and tigers and bears" same-old, same-old. But the class fills up very quickly and most of her students don't want to leave, so get in line. I have to say this whole scam thing made me laugh because Cynthia is not only a wonderfully intuitive teacher, but an awesome person to listen to and learn from.

Her classes are not only great for acting, but also community building, as well. I have met some awesome people thru her and she continually sends me emails about all sorts of things. I love having a teacher/mentor that I can connect with on a bunch of differnet levels. This would be a great place to start.

I started off last year with no acting experience at all. I took classes with Cynthia Uhrich for six months over last summer. I have had many opportunities since in commercials, industrials, movies, and stage theater. I found that her classes were of incredible help on a personal level allowing me to express myself more freely not only on stage but in my every day life as well. One other perk about classes with Cynthia Uhrich is that the classes are ongoing every week so you can continue to study with her as long as you like! There are no set class begin and end dates that dictate your experience. Don’t get me wrong though, she does expect people to sign up for month long periods not just on a class to class basis.

I've taken acting classes from several of the people that have been mentioned in these postings. I have enjoyed experiencing different styles of teaching. If I had to choose one instructor to recommend, however, I would definitely recommend Cynthia Uhrich. I have watched her turn novices into professionals. She is a great resource for both beginner and advanced actors. She has personally helped me find acting talents I never knew I had.

Cynthia brought something different in her teaching style and perspective.

I'll just tell you what does happen in Cynthia's class. She spends a lot of time on listening, and focuses heavily on improving cold reading skills in an audition setting. Her class does not spend a lot of time on "Theatre Games," which I really like because I don't learn well from them. I've never had her make me crawl around like an animal, so I'm not really sure what that's about. Anyway, her class is not a fraud, it's probably one of the more pure classes your gonna get in the twin cities.

In regards to the buzz on Ms. Cynthia Uhrich, I have worked on several films with Ms. Uhrich and have nothing but positive remarks. Cynthia is a talented actress, instructor, visual artist and filmmaker. She is also a CLASSY woman who has self-respect and great respect for humanity in general. As a professional photographer, a visual artist and a filmmaker, I wish there were more authentic and professional folks like Cynthia in this business.

Cynthia Uhrich acted in a short film I directed, and did an exemplary job injecting personality and humor into her role. I'm also a fan of her acting in general, as I've attended local plays in which she's acted, including an excellent production of "In the Garden" at the Loring Playhouse last month. I enthusiastically recommend her as an actress. Although I haven't taken her classes personally (as I'm not an actor), I think she has the right combination of acting talent, professionalism and nurturing temperament to make her a wonderful teacher.
